And 10th cousin of yours, David, and there’s a long line of Drapers here in the Canton, Massachusetts area so I’m assuming you’re related? ;)

Massachusetts Draper and Virginia Draper have been extremely difficult to connect as family.   Draper is a professional name: one who buys or sells cloth (or workers in the clothing industries.  My Virginia Draper were from Richmond County, the Quaker Draper were from Perquimans NC.  We can't connect to them either until all the Draper migration reaches Indiana in the early to mid 1800's, then we are discovering marriages that are connecting the families ( Draper great great grand  dauthers (with different names, marring into the other Draper family.  I have a free space page listing 4600 draper burials, none listed in Massacusetts!  Time will tell!
