My 2nd great grandfather Mr John Henry Ogilvie and his wife Wilhelmina (Carolina) Gustava  Lindenberg emigrated to South Africa in the late 1800's. John Henry died in 1903 and I managed to obtain his death notice from archives which showed he was born in Helsingor Denmark (we previously believed that he was born in Scotland) i have no idea if his parents (George Ogilvie and Amelia Ogilvie) remained in Denmark how can I research birth records to see if there was siblings etc?

I am also interested in finding out more about Wilhelmina Lindenberg's family etc

George William Ogilvie and Charlotte Emilie Spies had children in Denmark in the 1850's. None had a name Henry, that I saw. They had an unnamed daughter in 1851, and a son, George William  Jean Paul Ogelvie 21 May 1854.

Can you say what year John Henry Ogilvie was born.

John Henry Ogilvie was born around 1857, at his death in 1903 he was aged 46 according to the paperwork that I have, so I worked out that he was born in 1857 but i do not have the exact dates.

I would start in the censuses, must of this are digitised and searchable:
http://www.ddd.dda.dk/ddd_en.htm

Try different spellling of the name: Ogilvi, Ogelvie with w etc
