I am looking for a photo of my grandfather

Hello!  I am looking for a photo of my grandfather as I have never seen him.  I would love to find one for my dad to see as his father died when he was 11 yrs.

My grandfather's name is

James Francis Duffy

born in 1893 close to Guelph, Ontario Canada

I can look over at Ancestry.com... I've started a tree. what is your father's name? that'll help find relatives and maybe that picture...

I did not see a photo of him on FamilySearch or Ancestry.com.

You may want to post a note on his FamilySearch profile to see if other family members may respond. You can also create James' Wikitree profile to connect with other family members.

It's a long shot but try local libraries and archives. They'll have collections of photos from the past. Maybe you will find him in one. The more research you do on his life, the more likely you'll find a photo.

If you upgrade to family member and start adding your family branches, you may find cousins who might have a photo.

Hi Dawna-Lynn, I don't know if anyone has found your picture but so far I have found one on Ancestry for: James Frances Duffy, b. 21 Oct 1893, d. Dec 1957.  I don't see a place to attach it but will be happy to send it to you if you will give me you email address.  I will continue to look for others as this one is very small.  Sharon Ruby
