G2G: Advice before adding to this pre-1700 Holland profile?

I can add parents to the profile of Roger Holland. This is who I can add:

  • Father: Christopher Holland (bef. abt. 1670 - 1722)
  • Mother: Mary Parson
  • Also: parents' marriage date, marriage place and place of residence at marriage.

These are the sources I am using:

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? Thank you!

That looks fine, but please can you add a complete citation? Family Search make it very easy to copy the citation on the left hand side with the "Copy citation" button. Rather than add Martha as an Unknown, it's a good idea to see if you can find some information about her first.

Edit Oh dear I'm just as bad not reading the register properly! Yes, it looks good. I don't see Mary Parson mentioned though. Did you post the right link?

A Family Search family tree is not an acceptable source for a pre-1700 profile.  If the tree has actual primary or good secondary documentation attached, those should be used as sources.

It seems to be a parish register image, so is acceptable :)

Thanks, Gill! I'm new in here, so I appreciate the guidance.
