Hi Wikitreers,
We have from a antique dealer in my collection “An American Bible” very unique and interesting with writing inside “Gladys Cargill from grandfather W. Beesley January 20, 1915” however we need collaboration in connecting and finding out who she was and her genealogy. It’s possible she was from New England likely Connecticut. I want to have a second pair of eyes read her LNAB to make sure the spelling is correct. So who was her grandpa? Who was Gladys in 1915? I believe she was a young girl when this book was gifted to her from her grandfather which makes “Cargill” her LNAB and not a married name. Grandfather would of likely been born 19th century. Is her grandfather the maternal or paternal?
Note: this is over 100 years ago pre dates WW2 and is dated same time frame as WW1. Date on Bible is 1911
Thank you
