Looking for proof of marriage or any document showing William Hunter Pearce (Marlboro, SC) 1790-1868 and Emily Louise Hunter (Darlington, SC)1819-1898 were husband and wife.  SC courthouse burned in Civil War. The 1880 census shows them in same household but does not say wife. It doesn't have to be a marriage license.  A will, or land deed, or anything official document that shows Emily as his wife.  I desperately need proof of marriage for my DAR subsequent patriot application. Been looking 2yrs with no luck.  My time to respond to DAR is fast running out.
