Hi Wikitreers

A follow up inquiry from a recent post about her mother who also passed away young about same age just after being newly married. This is Mary Ely Whitney Outerbridge who passed away from “Puerperal Fever” it appears she did have a child a son named George? There is a beautiful picture of her mother on FindAGrave. Mary’s father was a well to do man and had servants in the census reports which appear to be Irish servants. I’m also trying to research her step mother as it appears in the 1860, 1870 and 1880 census reports her father remarrying a woman named Sarah F but what was her LNAB? Did her father remarry another Whitney from New York a sister of her mothers perhaps?

Any collaboration in her genealogy is appreciated

Thank you exactly what I was looking for and explains very detailed their lives. Sadly the end of the line when grandson George passed away.

It would appear her husband was much older than she was by about 30 years? Is there something missing to this story?

It appeared her husband was https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Outerbridge-81

However the dates don’t match but yet names and location do. More research needed removed connection until confirmed

Edit: per obit of Alexander Outerbridge. He was a Sr. So his son was likely her husband and was same name a Jr.

Found her husband Alexander Ewing Outerbridge, Jr
