G2G: Captain and Mrs Ethan Hurd need some bio help

Question

While adding sources to unsourced Ohio profiles, I came across the orphaned profile of  Ethan Osborn Hurd. According to his bio on FindAGrave, he was a Union Civil War Officer. Other than basic census and death records and a very non informative obituary, I am struggling to find any information on Ethan. I also added his wife and found her listed in a society of descendants of the Mayflower. Hoping to find some more sources, or people with interested and knowledge in these areas to fill out some more information.
