G2G: How a filiation link (Mother - Son) introduced by mistake?

I introduced a person in the wrong place of the family tree. Then I recreated the profile at the right place and then merge with the profile created at the right place. (I thought that merging will cancel the profile at the wrong place of the tree but instead the same profile appear at 2 places in the tree). Then I tried to enter a second person instead of the double profile and the new entered person keeps on appearing on 2 places at once as they were merged. How can I cancel the wrong filiation introduced by mistake?

You would fix this by editing the relationships. Go to the profile in question, click 'Edit', then on the right hand section under 'Edit Family', spot the person who is in the wrong spot, and choose "replace/remove father/mother" or "add/remove spouse" or "add/remove child" as appropriate.
