There is a category for 1st Aviation Brigade -

under that we need category for 145th Combat Aviation Battalion

under that need 68th Assault Helicopter Company

All except the last one 68th AHC is listed in the write up for the Category: 1st Aviation Brigade, United States Army, Vietnam War. Since most are listed in the write up for the first Aviation Brigade, How do I put sub-categories under it? hope this ? makes sense. Categories are another language and I am snowed. How do we make a category listing for the 145th CAB and then add 68th AHC?

NOW there is also a category listing for Helicopter Pilots. Norman would qualify. Where does it fit in the category listing or is just a random collection?

Will this work?

[[Category:<Helicopter Pilot>, <68th Assault Helicopter Company>, <145th Combat Aviation Battalion>, <12th Aviation Group>, <1st Aviation Brigade>, <United States Army>, <Vietnam War>]]

I presume this would go before the Biography on Norman's profile. If it works, can I leave off the Helicopter Pilot section for the two men who died with him and use everything else on the other two men?

No, just the unit not helipcopter pilot as part of it. Cat name is too long. I'll look at it now.

You should use [[Category:145th Combat Aviation Battalion, United States Army, Vietnam War]] for all three. The pilot would also get [[Category:Helipcopter Pilots]]

Is it possible to add 68th Assault Helicopter Company? They were an absolutely amazing group. Saved a lot lives and went wherever they were needed no matter how much risk was involved.

We normally don't create categories for companies other than the independent companies in various wars because there were so many that it's difficult to group more than a couple of profiles. Let me research the Company.

Ok, it looks like this one can fly as a category. I'll add it under the 145th.
Natalie,

Thank you for adding the 68th AHC. The Helicopter pilots and crew of Vietnam were absolutely amazing. These guys were know by their radio callsign "Top Tigers." As long as there is a Vietnam veteran, the Top Tigers and other helicopter pilots and crews will be remembered. Many times they were successful. Many times they died trying to save others. You can find their web page by searching the 68th AH (www.68thahc.com)(I think). I know there are a lot of Companies. This one is the best of the best! You will enjoy their stories.

Dewey

Thank You!
