Why does my wife's account show my CC7 stats?

I created an account for my wife who doesn't "do" genealogy.  I did it mostly for the stats in the weekly WT Family News.  It shows her CC7 stats but when I click on it, it shows the detail for my CC7 stats.  Our counts are very close so isn't obvious at first.

Does the URL of the number at your wife look like this?

Obviously, it is picking up on the fact that I am signed in.  It would be nice if it used the ID of the person it is being sent to.

Just a thought: do the accounts for you and your wife have different email addresses, or the same one?

Well, that's probably part of the problem.  Since she doesn't really care, both accounts use my email.

Yes, I think that's the problem, Roger. As I understand it, every WikiTree account must have a unique email address. Trying to use the same address on two accounts can cause the kind of confusion you're seeing.

You could make a free account with a suitable service, and have mail for it forwarded to your own email address. Then use the new email address for your wife's WikiTree account.

It doesn't allow the exact same email. Although some people use "." to get around that (we get a report on those to prevent abuse).

Now that I have thought about it, I did setup a second email account for my wife and had it directed to me.
