I just joined Wikitree G2G and am very excited to find this. I have developed an extensive tree over the last 18 months and am excited to contribute to this project. But before I do that, I'd like some help establishing whether Göstaf Adolf Knutsson Roos Af Hjälmsäter (1487-1537) (knutsson-232) had a son named Nils Gustavsson Roos af Hjelmsater 1512-1560. On Göstaf's profile, there's a note at the bottom that he had 3 children with his first marriage, with a Nils being listed as one of those children. Ancestry.com is the site that first said that these two individuals are linked, but I want to be sure. On the profile for Nils on Geni it says that no link has been established.
Once one becomes a descendant of Göstaf's, wikitree and ancestry both have an EXTENSIVE history of individuals going back MUCH further than most ancestry records do, so it would be extremely exciting if this connection is there. For over a year I assumed that Ancestry.com was just wildly inaccurate because I didn't think it was possible for records to go back this far, but now that I see that wikitree has these same very old records, my interest is renewed.
