How to pull a standard citation for a FamilySearch page without Wikitree X?

One of my favorite things about using Wikitree X has been the little citation it made for profiles elsewhere - I mostly used it for FamilySearch.

Example:

It tells where the base data came from, when it was pulled, and provides a handy link back to the page.

When I choose "Build FamilySearch Template" from Wikitree Sourcer, all I get is {{FamilySearch|KG2F-77L}}. This at least provides a link, but I have to build a citation around it.

Is there an easy way to build a citation for a FamilySearch profile page similar to the Wikitree X one that I don't see? I have Wikitree Sourcer and love it, and I'm not wild about adding too many more apps or extension. I was just wondering if I had overlooked something.

PS - My apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere! I looked around and wasn't able to find something specifically about replicating the Wikitree X style citation for FS.

EDITED TO ADD: I'm not suggesting that FamilySearch is a stand-alone source! I am only looking for an easy way to create a citation to a FamilySearch profile. I will ALWAYS add as many sources as possible. This is not a question about what constitutes a source, it's a technical question about replacing a convenient function of Wikitree X since it's no longer supported.

I'm not sure where the comment is, but I got an email with Beacall-6's answer, "There is a system for this. See here: https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/498080/how-to-link-familysearch-org-profile-with-wikitree-profile?show=498167#a498167."

This is similar to Jonathan's answer. I'm still wondering how I can pull the citation without having to go through the "Update WIkitree" function within the FamilySearch matching. I hope someone can still point me to a way to pull this!

Better to use the Familysearch match function, because it adds a link on the side of the profile that says "Here is a possible profile on familysearch" and gives a link.

Go to Find on the menu, Familysearch matches for everything on your watchlist. You can also manually add connections if you want to do so for a profile not in your watchlist, or if the app cant find the connection. Quickest way to find that is Find, Search, search Help pages, look for familysearch and then on that page look for direct editing.

Jonathan! Thank you! This is (kind of) exactly what I was looking for! I tried going through my watchlist and tested one, and when I used the "Update Wikitree" function, it gave me exactly the citation I was looking for!

However, when I tried it with a profile I was working on (she is on my watchlist but I didn't want to commit to manually wading through that many pages ) I found it a little more difficult. I found the direct match page (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:EditFamilySearch), and although I got her page linked up and it now has the little suggestion on the right of her Wikitree page, I don't know how to get the citation.

I know it seems like such a little thing - but it's more the idea that I keep thinking there must be a little button I'm missing that does this one thing.

Thanks again for your help, Jonathan!
I use the Research option on a profile's right-hand column, selecting FamilySearch as the platform to search. When I get to the source I want to cite, I copy the citation on that page (for images, you have to select the Information tab to find the citation).
Thanks, Jillaine - I use those too! I am looking for a citation for the page as a whole rather than for individual sources. For those I typically use Wikitree Sourcer.

Instead of citing the family tree profile it is preferable to cite the individual sources on that profile. In many cases the sources or relatives are not correct so, as with any online tree, be careful.

From the family tree profile click on the sources tab. Open the source record, review to confirm that it applies to the person, then cite that record.

Hi Kay! I know how to cite sources from FamilySearch. I never leave a profile that only points to another compiled profile page, such as FamilySearch, Find a Grave, or Ancestry. I leave as many sources as I can for each profile I create.

My question is not whether or not FamilySearch counts as a source, but how to leave a citation to the page. Whether or not the information contained therein is accurate, it still represents the person on another one world tree and having a link to them is very convenient.
