There are two Trevino/Treviño One Name Study categories, with and w/out the tilde. Shouldn't they be combined?

I'm hoping it's just accidental duplication. I'm about to add categories to many previously created profiles for the name in my family tree. I didn't even know about categories when I created most of them! But as soon as I started this project, I found two separate categories for Trevino and Treviño and am wondering if there is a legitimate reason for this. In my experience, it has always been pronounced Treviño but the tilde just doesn't always make it to the printed page, even in my own writing. I just didn't want to start categorizing until I knew for sure. Thanks.

I think they are two variations of the same name - especially historically.

I have a few Treviño DNA matches in Mexico/Texas.  But I do not know which way the families prefer to spell the name...

I've never "heard" the name without the tilde pronounced when spoken in Spanish but often see it written without it. I too think it should be a variation of the same name and not separate categories like it is currently.

I've lived around Hispanic names (in south Texas) all my life, and I've never heard it pronounced without the tilde.

Treviño (Spanish)

Trevigno (Italian)

Trevino (English)

I can't comment on the family preferences at all, but [n-with the tilde] is a separate letter from [n-without it] in the Spanish alphabet.

Thanks, that supports the notion that it should be treated like any other spelling variation of the same name. I think it was accidental and should be combined under the same study, just not sure how to accomplish that.
