I mean that wikitree worked simply and functional as it was. So why you create a new version, which is so clumsy to use is more than i can understand.

It slows down the process of profile creation and requires more reliance on writing down information. While creating the profile, it's harder to go back and correct dates and places as I did previously using FamilySearch. I can do that once the profile is created, but must trust to memory what I wanted to change. Also, I have to add middle names and initials, prefixes and suffixes, and so forth after the profile is created. I liked seeing the parents and siblings on the edit screen. I suppose I'll get used to it, but, as Karl said, the process has been made more clumsy.
