Rebecca (Washburn-693) Tuttle is my 5th Great Grandmother. (I now have to add supposedly.) I have searched through the "Mayflower Families Fifth Generation Descendants, 1700-1880." Rebecca Washburn-693 is not the child of Miles and Susannah (Perry) Washburn. She is also not the child of Ebenezer and Patience (Miles) Washburn nor is she the child of Jabez and Judith (Faunce) Washburn. I have been trying to find her parents. Can anyone help with this?

Hi Steven, I cannot find any actual sources or documentation to back up any of the data points for James or Rebecca on their WT profiles. There are a ton of data points in a nice summary for James, but no real citations for a starting place. I see his profile is 11 years old, but other than Arik's "firsthand knowledge" offered as a source, it might as well all be hearsay.
From all your badges, you appear to have a lot of experience so I assume you've worked backwards to her and have reasonably thorough documentation? Can you elaborate on what you *have* done? Do you have a subscription to American Ancestors? Have you consulted Alva Tuttle's gigantic compendium of Tuttles/Tuthills in America to see if she is listed in there?

Thank you for your comment about my question, Tina. I do have a subscription for American Ancestors, but haven't found any relevant information that would codify Rebecca's history. I will try finding Alva Tuttle's compendium of the Tuttles. I will keep everyone posted.
