What is the form etiquette before adding a family member?  I added a comment to the profile.  I have applicable data to confirm my claim.  How long should I wait before hearing a response?  Should I send a PM to the profile manager?

The profile manager is not very active. If you have sources for the information you want to add, then go ahead and add it. If you find that there is some incorrect information or family members, then place those in a ==Research Note== section below the biography and above the sources.

Be Bold is the Wiki motto.  As Virginia says, Go ahead and make the changes as long as you have the sources.  Reaching out for communication is always a good idea but do not let that stop you from adding to our tree if you have good stuff to contribute.

Here is WikiTree's advice: Communication Before Editing.

Editing requires more finesse or etiquette than additions. Either way, I usually check to see how active the manager is first. An active WT'er  should get a little more consideration IMO. This is a collaboration after all.
