Thank you Elisabeth...Both my Mum and Dad wanted their genealogy researched, so I went into overdrive for them.  I managed to solve some family mysteries - such as where ancestors are buried, make new discoveries - such as where ancestors emigrated to, and find interesting emphemera - such as newspaper articles, shipping lists, and photos.  The really exciting part is being contacted by people all over the world, thanks to Wikitree  !!!

Exacty!! So Awesome finding people! Mum grew up without her grandma as she died when grandad was only 7 mths old. They did not know her family. Interestingly there have been family tours and meetings...so much fun!

Thank you Pip...I certainly made some wonderful discoveries as I compiled the trees.  The best discovery was a historic photo of where my g-g-grandad worked as a baker in Scotland, prior to coming to New Zealand to work as a baker here.  The best consequence is that I am contacted by people all over the world, and have really enjoyed their correspondence.  Wikitree is wonderful  !!!

Thank you Roy...I was inspired to join Wikitree when I discovered years ago that someone had a profile for my grandmother.  Both my Mum and Dad wanted me to do their genealogy, so I got busy on their behalf, growing the tree as quickly as I could, to be able to share my discoveries with them.  Wikitree is wonderful !!!
