I have a painting by H Horrocks dated 1931.

Question

I have a painting by H Horrcks dated 1931.  I would just like to know a bit about the artist and the painting.  It is a picture of a woman with bare feet at the entrance of a cave.  I thought it might be of Mary Magdalene but now not sure.  It is in the original frame and it was framed by S.P. Winder, Carver & gilder, Artists Materials, 19 Great Moor Street, Bolton.  I have tried googling it but couldn't find anything.  Could you please help?

This is really weird because I too have that painting and I thought it was Mary Magdalene as well.  Does anyone know anything about this painting.  I have also tried googling it but cannot find anything.
