WikiTree How To Here is How To Do IT

Richard, we were all new to WikiTree at one time.  There is a bit of a learning curve.  There are no wrong questions, so ask for help any time you need help.

What is hard for some new members to grasp is that WikiTree is a "Family Tree", not a "Personal Tree"!  That is why it is different than others and better! We all work together and help one another improve each and every profile created. I say this here because of others looking in who might benefit!

Thank you sir, it s a nice poem. Im trying to help where I can, but Im not good in communication or working together. It s verry hard for me, but Im learning and doing my best. And on some moments I don t understand things.

Richard, just adding your own family to the Tree IS working together!  Add enough of your family pedigree and magical things start to happen!  Connections to other people and cousins start to appear!  You might find you are even related to somebody famous (or infamous)

Im from Rotterdam, the Netherlands. I like history from the USA, particularly before the1900s. You got an interesting family sir. I will read more tomorrow.

I already knew some of my connections from stories I heard from my family. Wikitree confirmed these things and surprised me with more. I think sometimes it s better not to know certain things.

@ 'not good in communication and working w/ others' you can still learn a lot just by tuning in to g2g picking up some stuff here and there and work independently, if you rather. My advice, take it slow and easy, your subject matter aint going nowhere. Have questions ,ask. Enjoy, welcome to the tree.
