The genealogy software Roots Magic 8 is a desktop software which enables one to port persons and sources back and forth between Roots Magic 8 and ancestry.com.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if someone could create a tool to port directly from our desktop software (or even just from Roots Magic 8) to WikiTree!  I don’t know the technology that enables Roots Magic 8 to examine each person and decide if the person is identical and if there needs to be info ported over or not – maybe it is magic.  But If they can do it, maybe WikiTree can do it also !!

I would love a connection between my desktop and WikiTree!  And if needed, I'd buy Roots Magic 8 to do it!
