March 2023 We Will RAWK You Wrap Up Video

Question

Our first We Will RAWK You event concluded on Friday, March 31.  

There was a team of 53 registered RAWKERs, but many others from relevant geographical projects put their shoulders to the wheel throughout the month.  

The 5 WikiTreers who were RAWKed were:

• Gill Whitehouse
• Bart Molier
• Cindy Cooper
• Gaile Connolly
• Erin Robertson

All together our team increased the CC7 of these 5 WikiTreers by 1,659: RAWK on!!!

We'll have a wrap up video to discuss the highlights and intriguing finds from the month's research on Thursday, April 6 at 6:30 pm EST/10:30 pm UTC.  Please join us!

Thank you to the RAWK team for working on my profiles.  After years of working on Acadians and helping other people, it felt really nice to have some help on my tree! I think about 200 were added, plus you inspired me to make more as well.  I met some really great people and appreciated what I learned from them, especially [[Wall-7415|Jeffrey Wall]] who taught me about Norwegian names and farm names.  Also for [[Flamer-1|Judy (Flamer) Bramlage]] and [[Fremmerlid-1|Valerie (Fremmerlid) Penner]] for the profiles they made.   I also saw a comment on the German side by [[Elbert-215|Sven Elbert]] which my sister didn't answer (sorry).  I'll spend more time on that in the coming months.  Thank you to everyone who contributed, I am much more excited to work on my family now.

Many many thanks to all who added profiles to my family - I haven't been able to keep track of them all, and I'm sure there are some I haven't found yet! I just want to say thanks for all your hard work!
