• These suggestions were not added last week, so here they are.
  • Suggestion 176 DNA - Invalid mitoyDNA ID.
  • Suggestion 177 Duplicated mitoyDNA ID.
  • Suggestion 178 mitoyDNA ID used as yDNA and mtDNA Haplogroup.
• Added reports for USBH
• I changed the handling of the text variations for finding typos. I added a space to the variations. There is an increase in some related suggestions. It should bind spaces within words and also missing hypens.
• I am still waiting on new server.

Previous News

• As you probably know, WT+ server died. It is now running on some spare machine I have in the company, but things are not as fast as usually. I already ordered new server and it might be delivered this week. Then the operations will be back to normal, but much faster. Since I was buying new one, it will be faster (6 core) with more ram.
• I updated the search engine to handle queries from multiple indexes much faster. For example searches like Birthcountry=England and Birthregion=UnknownRegion are now done 100 times faster.
• Added Cumbria as england location. https://plus.wikitree.com/function/WTShowTable/Table.htm?table=Countries&filter=ENG
• Added reports for Cumbria and Bristol
• Made some changes to the location table https://plus.wikitree.com/function/WTShowTable/Table.htm?table=Countries&filter=IRL about County Dery. It will be reported as 618 suggestion.
• Added a few new things into search index. All is DNA related.
  • Added mitoyDNA ID to the DNA index
  • added noGEDMatchID and noMitoyDNAID magicwords to find profiles, where replicated test is missing either ID.
• Suggestion 153 DNA yDNA test on female extended to check yHaplogroup also on auDNA tests.
• Suggestion 161 yDNA Haplogroup wrong extended to check yHaplogroup also on auDNA tests.
• Suggestion 166 mtDNA Haplogroup wrong extended to check mtHaplogroup also on auDNA tests.
• Adjusted location table for Argyle, Scotland
• EditBOT corrected 3000 profiles with invalid domain www.itd.nps.gov
• Added a few new things into search index. All is DNA related.
  • yDNA and mtDNA magicwords were moved from index Tree= to DNA=
  • Added auDNA magic word to DNA index
  • Added yHaplogroup and mtHaplogroup to the DNA index
  • Added GedMatch ID to the DNA index
• I excluded some table headers generated by Chrome Extensions from generating the 831 Multiple duplicated lines suggestion.
• Many deprecated templates were designated to generate a suggestion if used on a profile. See full list here Automated:Template_Index_Group#DBE_844_.2826.29. That resulted in many new suggestions.

This is absolutely brilliant! USBH is already using this to catch up on profiles added to Heritage Exchange a long time ago. We'll use it for our maintenance categories too.
