This is my great-uncle Wilhelm Gotfried Julius Schmehl's death certificate: https://a860-historicalvitalrecords.nyc.gov/view/2359039

Can anyone tell me what cemetery he was buried in? I can't make out the chicken scratch.  It looks like it might be Lutheran Cemetery, but the family was mostly buried in Catholic cemeteries.

Looks like "Luth Cem" to me.
Any idea what that means? Is there a Lutheran Cemetery in New York?

Could be , what became All Faiths Cemetery. In 1850, when the common council of New York forbade burial in the city

All Faiths Cemetery

The All Faiths Cemetery is located in Middle Village, Queens, New York. The 225-acre (91 ha) cemetery was established in 1850 by Lutheran pastor Frederick W. Geissenhainer

I wonder if there's any way to know for sure?

Update: According to Wikipedia:

Originally named Lutheran Cemetery, it was renamed to Lutheran All Faiths Cemetery in 1990.

I think that pretty much settles it.
