Do I need a Project Box to adopt an orphaned profile by my ONS

I'm coaching an ONS and have identified an orphaned profile that will be included in the Study but I don't want to personally adopt the profile, I want the ONS to adopt the profile.  Is that possible and do I need a project box? or how do I have the Study adopt the profile?

The profile doesn't need to have a  manager and I don't believe that an ONS can manage a profile. An orphaned profile can be part of the ONS.

Kevin is correct. A ONS cannot adopt a profile, but a Project can. That might be the confusion.
