If you go to www.familysearch.org and put in the name Robert Pease and the

country you will see a lot of Robert Pease's.

You would need 2 males with descent through different lines originating with him. If both have the same yDNA (within acceptable statistical margins) the likelihood that he is their common ancestor would be very high.
