Did this William Morris travel to New Zealand and marry Mary Ann Norton in 1871?

William Morris, my  great, great grandfather was born 14 july 1846. trying to track down info. He came to New Zealnd at some stage and  married Mary Ann Norton. they had  8 children in NZ. one was Thomas Norton  Morris (1882 - 1961).

For the period 1865-1932 there is mention of only one Mary Ann Norton who marr. George William Morris on 31 May 1871.

There is a Thomas Norton Morris born 27 Jun 1882 with the mother's forenames of 'Mary Ann' and the father's first names 'George William'.

These children have the same parents:

Jessie Ellen b. 25 Sep 1880

Arthur Louis b. 27 May 1884

Do you know where he was from. My gg grandfather was William Morris born about 1818. He married an Ann Naughton. I know this is one generation different. They lived in Roscommon.
