An Ancestral File entry had John Biggs born 27 Dec, 1751, father of Joseph Willis Biggs, born 1775, Charlotte Co., VA and died 6 Oct 1813 at the Battle at Fort Seneca, OH.

Joseph Willis Biggs is my direct ancestor, 7 generations.

I like to look up this kind of thing. It's interesting that the battles of the War of 1812 were not confined to 1812. The Battle of Lake Erie was took place in 1813 and the Battle of New Orleans was fought in January of 1815.
