Who is Christofle Margery born about 1631

Question

Cristofle Margery age 55 in the1686 Census at Port Royal Acadie has no other information. Cristofle maybe should be Christofle. Margery maybe should be Marguery. Birth is suspected as being in France about 1631. Is Cristofle a male or female first name? This person does not appear in the 1678 census or 1693 census. Any additional help would be appreciated before I make a profile.

Like Guillaume-272, Christophe Margery has an entry in the Dictionnaire généalogique des familles acadiennes, but other than an appearance in the 1686 census, nothing more is known about him.
