G2G: Is there a John Woodson line to Gaines family?

Geoff, Greetings and hoping all is well with you.  I have a lot of Gaines in my tree.  I've been working on a Jamestown line for several years.  I have about 70+ starts, some close, but not cigars.  I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer.  I looked at your tree for some Gaines connections.  I can't figure it out.  I just recently started trying to use Wikitree.  I'm not as versed as I am on Ancestry.  I'm learning & like the wikitree experience.  I looked at John Woodson to try to find a line, no luck.  Could be I'm not that versed in Wiki.  Can you tell me if any of the Gaines connect to Woodson?  Thank you... Geoff,  I played around wth wiki and figured out your Woodson connection.   My ancester from William Henry Gaines is Richard and yours is Thomas and that is the difference to Woodson.  Thank you...   Mike

If you use relationship finder, and use Woodson-13 and Gaines-72, you will see the connection, albeit through marriage. That may not help, but at least it will give you a direction.
