How do I share trees now?

Question

I have a blog where I have many links to the family trees on Wikitree as well as the Compact Family Tree (old/5).

I have just realised all my links no longer exist no doubt due to the recent changes.  Error - page does not exist.

How do I find a new link to take people directly to the old tree view and also the compact tree view (up to 254 ancestors).

Hi Veronica. Perhaps this example of descendants corresponds to the old tree view?

I suspect that the compact tree is under Tree Apps and requires login, so can no longer be shared to non-members, but I hope someone will explain why I'm wrong.

The Compact Tree is where it has always been, I think. https://www.wikitree.com/treewidget/Maddox-1056/5

(From the menu on the profile page).

The brief tree is available by appending #Ancestors to a profile.

Unfortunately, when you click on the Ancestors button, the URL isn't updated to add the hash argument, so if you want to send a link, it seems you have to add it yourself.

I wish we could go back to the way things were, with that tree being its own page.

Thanks Daphne, that works!  Not ideal though as it has the profile persons banner, so not as clean as before.

Looking at your link it appears mine has an extra /wiki/

I took the /wiki/ out and my link works now - so thank you!  Just need to go back and change the many other links in my blog!
