Attempting to find out more on the Eilola family who migrated from Finland

A relative by the name of Loyal Hayman in my family tree maried an Eilola in Murwillumbah N.S.W.

My great great grandfathers name is Matti Augustus Tahja born in 1867. His mothers maiden name was Eilola. He moved from Merijarvi, Finland in 1886 to California, USA. He married Liisa Tahja born in 1882 during one of his 7 trips back to Finland.

Im looking for the parents of Matti August Tahja or Liisa Tahja.

Have you seen www.familylink.com search results for Eilola. They currently offer three day free trial to view their records. When I looked they had 695 records covering birth death census marriage newspaper immigration and family trees.

Father of Loyal's wife Emily Jane is daughter of August Eilola b. 1853 who moved from Merijärvi Finland to Australia.

Emily is my grandmother's first cousin.
