How do you see the oldest pending merges first?

+4 votes

I found a pending merge from 2011: and it's one that I thought should also happen:

Privacy Level 50 Thomas McCullough (McCullough-411) and Privacy Level 50 Thomas Jefferson McCullough (McCullough-189)   Compare compare
Proposed by Aran Stubbs.
Approval from Nancy Brown for McCullough-411 has been recorded.
Someone from McCullough-189's Trusted List needs to approve.
If McCullough-411 and McCullough-189 are different people, reject the merge.
If there's been an error, remove the pending merge. Help

As pending merges are often sorted by date, with newest first, then it seems it's possible for stale pending merges to hardly ever be scrubbed.

Is there a way to sort pending merges by oldest first?

Bill and Jillaine:

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding your point,  but you already can click on the re-sort link titled:

by oldest match date

link near the top of the Browse existing matched page.

Hope this helps,

I wasn't able to get this to work last night, but I just tried it: and it seemed to work.

I was having some intermittent network access last night, perhaps that was related to the issue.

Thanks for the help,
