Help to transcribe an old record

Is there anyone good at reading handwriting who could tell me what the cause of death listed on this one is?? All I can make out is "------???-----" 6 mos certified.

The first word is obviously some disease or illness but I can't read it.

I believe it is an iteration of the Marasmus, which, according to this article, Old Diseases and Obsolete Medical Terms: Definitions (thoughtco.com), was "A wasting of the flesh without fever or apparent disease; severe malnutrition."
