Hi April,

I think you are good to go!wink  You can always click on edit and add "Uncertain" to the death date.  Right now the indicator is set to "certain".  That being said, it's better to have a some kind of a clue for others that might being trying to improve the profile.

That is a nice looking profile.  Thank you for your hard work on that!

I would put it on the same plane as Bible records.  If it was recorded in the time frame as the death that it is recording, then I would use it and write up a source to reference it.

What is so very interesting about this diary notation, is that Valentine's eldest son, John Sevier, had a very curious dream wherein his father paid him a visit and stated to John that he, Valentine, had to 'sit out to the great high court' on the Friday before the New Year. This was in 1803. John shared the dream with others. Then in another diary notation, he mentioned he was visited by a certain gentleman who told him his father passed away on the 30th of December 1803, which confirmed his dream.
