I believe Stuart Forbes Williams returned to South Africa and died there, not in New Zealand.

Question

After Lillian died in 1923 he remarried in 1924 to Rubina (Robina?) Caton. He appears on electoral rolls until 1943 then disappears. There are 2 pages amongst his WW1 file; an Attestation page which names his 2^nd wife Rubina dated 18 Feb194?, end of date not visible and also a page dated 23 Nov 1943 states he was in Home Guard in Invercargill and it states he is leaving NZ as he has been transferred to Johannesburg South Africa branch of the NZ Insurance Company.

 So would say he died in South Africa maybe. Unable to get SA records.
