Every time I add a profile that connects me to yet another family line, I think it is GREAT! Whether or not that line has notables, nobility or commoners, they all contribute to the story and the Wiki mission. Some of my most fond characters are as common as salt- an essential element to our collective survival. Like everyone else, they have their good and bad traits. On the other hand, some of our common 'famous' ancestors were self-serving, maniacal narcissists that got a favorable review from history.
To quote one of my ancestors, " The only thing new in this world is the history you don't know." As far as 'just discovered', someone else discovered that information, you merely acquired it. Genealogy is like money, you can earn it or wait and hope someone leaves it to you when they are done with it. Thank You's are in order for everyone who does the work.
