Ged conversion

Family Tree is in html. How do I convert it to ged?.Do you then insert it in my folder?

There's a lot of different programs to convert GED to HTML but I haven't seen one going the other way.

Are you talking about downloading from wikitree? It is possible to generate a "gedcom" from wikitree (only profiles on your watch list) and download it so it can be opened in an offline family tree software but the bulk of the info -- including sources -- is stored in the Notes field not converted to database fields (except for the basic vitals).
