I posted this in another thread about Tree Apps no longer requiring a second log in, and Jamie kindly provided this information: "The FamilySearch matches app is separate from the Tree Apps, so the login in separate."
If that's the case, I have a separate issue, so I'll re-post this:
I seem to be stuck in a circular loop on "Match WikiTree Watchlist to FamilySearch Family Tree", which I have been using daily for a couple of years, because once I've matched them and cleaned up the bio, I make sure the profiles are open and orphaned to allow others to work on them.
I go to the "Find" menu on the main WikiTree page and click on FamilySearch Matches. The next page prompts me to sign in to both WikiTree and FamilySearch (obviously, I'm already logged into WikiTree). Clicking on the WikiTree button takes me to the "Login to WikiTree Apps", as it did in the past. Logging in there circles me back to the "Match WikiTree Watchlist to FamilySearch Family Tree" page, as it has in the past, but WikiTree is still not logged in. Clicking on the WikiTree button again just takes me back through the same circle. I've cleared cookies and caches, but I'm still having this issue days later.
My workaround is to go to my watchlist and find the profiles I want to remove from my watchlist. I belatedly realized a couple of years ago that I really don't need to manage thousands of profiles. I copy/paste the link of their FS profile, clean up the bio using the new auto-bio (which I LOVE), then orphan the profile. But, it would be less keystrokes to still have the "Match WikiTree Watchlist to FamilySearch Family Tree" working.
Any insight would be appreciated!
