No sources for this early ancestor. All that's given is a "Geni" link. Thank you, Steve

A source is just a record of the place the information was found.  It may be a really bad source, but if that's where the person found the information they posted to the profile, then that is the source.
Since this is a Pre-1700 profile, the source that is there is not sufficient. More research needs to be done to find proper sources.

Yes, pre-1700 requirements say

Derivative or second-hand information such as a family tree that was handed down to you or a tree found on another website may be used to create a profile of a modern person. (Even with modern family members it should be a priority to find and cite original sources.) We have a higher standard for deep genealogy. You must never create a pre-1700 profile without citing a reliable source.

I found a couple of sources and posted them to the profile.

Honor Code Item VIII states, we cite sources. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:Honor_Code

Without sources we can't objectively resolve conflicting information. See https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Sources
