G2G: Researching William Gadsden Gamble, member SC legislature 1834-35?

I'm researching my 3rd Great Grandfather, William Gadsden Gamble (abt. 1808 to 1863) lived in the present Williamsburg County area.

He Married Elizabeth Sabb Pendergrass (1810-1845) about 1834.

They had several children: Julius Pendergrass Gamble (1834-1901) who is my 2nd GGF.

He was a planter, and one family record showed he was the Commissioner of Schools in Williamsburg County at some point.

He also served in the SC 34th Assembly 1834-1835 then served in the SC Senate 1845-46, finishing the term of Sen. Buford who died in office.

I'm looking for any information, government service, family, anything as this is a huge genealogical road block for me.

Some information found by doing a Google search:

He is listed in the Journal of the Legislative of South Carolina for the Year 1834 on p12.

Boddie's book is a must have for early Williamsburg County research. It's one I already have.  Also, I've done extensive searching on Carolana.com which is where I found the terms he served in the Assembly and Senate.

Unfortunately, the legislative reference only shows votes in the legislature. And, the Carolana references don't expand on family connections.

I'm not finding a will or other documents of his life, parents, or such. Even the SC Archives have little directly about him but there are things where he was a witness signing them.

Thank you providing this links.
