Question

New member, name is Edward Reeves Bates. I am a direct descendant of Henry Bates of Wallingford, Ct (about 1700), who married Mary Chatfield on 9 May 1712. Elias was one of their children, and I am descended from Elias. I am looking for the ancestors of Henry Bates.

Your next step is to upgrade to family member. Then you can start adding your family branches and digging into the research.
