These families also have Widmer connections. That is why I would like to get in touch with someone I can talk to about this.
In particular, I would like to get in touch with offspring from Lydia and Joseph Wagler-Hirshy, whom my wife met in 1965 when she flew to Wayland, Iowa. Before Lydia immigrated to the US with her family in 1904, she used to libe in the house my family is now living in. My grandfather bought this house from John Baptiste, Lydia's father.
Lydia had a sister named Anna, as well as two brothers John and Alfred.
If any of these names ring a bell to you, it would be a pleasure to exchange with you. I'm looking forward to constructive exchanges.
Best regards,
Jean Paul Pelsy
