How do you access the WikiTree Browser Extension?

I installed the WikiTree Browser Extension yesterday and love that now every profile tells me my relationship to the person, either related or connected. Thank you! But it seemed there were more features and I can't see where I click to access the whole menu.

In Chrome: Click the puzzle piece icon up in the browser bar (next to where your profile is at). Then click the pin icon next to the WikiTree Browser Extension. This will pin it to your browser bar so you can access it easily.

Once you have that, click on the icon and it will display all the options.

I need additional help.  I’m hoping to use wikitree sourcer, beginning with Mindy Silva’s video, first thing is locate puzzle piece on browser extension….which does not appear for me.  I need very basic step, please.

The puzzle piece is not a part of the browser extension itself, but a button in Chrome. It is located at the very top of your browser, next to where your Profile Picture is located.

If you cannot find it, make sure your browser is updated to the latest version. Then click on the three dots in the far upper-right corner, hover over "Extensions", then select "Manage Extensions". Alternatively, navigate to chrome://extensions/.

If you have the extenion installed, it will be visible in this listing. If it is not installed, you need to install it form the Chrome Store: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/wikitree-browser-extensio/ncjafpiokcjepnnlmgdaphkkjehapbln

Once the plugin is installed and showing in this list - look for that puzzle piece again.

How does that apply to Firefox. I have it installed and can see the settings of the plugin, all is okay there, but I cannot open the plugin itself.

If you can see the settings of the plugin, that IS the plugin interface, there is really nothing else to do at that point. With options enabled and configured in the plugin settings, it will then change how you interact with WikiTree, what options are available to you, etc.

Thank you, from Dusky, (Jetton-182), for the continuing varied replies.  Steps are a bit different for me using I-Pad, no ‘hover’, ha)!  But, browser extension via Safari is working. I haven’t updated options as yet. For now, mostly like the screen profile displaying degree of descendant, and how related.
