George Hendrickson, from his death record, was buried in Woodland Cemetery, Xinia, Green Co., OH. His parents might possibly have been buried there too.

There was a John Hendrickson who married on 15 Oct 1824 at Warren, OH. His parents were William and Sally Hendrickson.

I can't believe this!  Where are you all finding this information?  I've been searching for years for John Hendrickson, and could never find anything on him.  I do have pictures of George's tombstone in Woodland Cemetery, and have been to visit it, but if there is a John Hendrickson there, I didn't find that.  Will start with William and Sally and see what I can find on them.  I neglected to mention that George was born in Butler Co., OH.

Thank you!!!
Much of what I find is at  .  It's free and they have extensive info on family history.

It involves filling in the blanks with names and dates or approximate dates and do a search. Then look over what appears on the screen to see what looks right. Usually the most likely results are first.

The Woodland Cemetery has a site on the internet. You might want to do a google search to find it and contact them with questions about George H. and possibly John H.
Hi All,

So I've spent the better part of the day going page by page over the 1850 Butler County Ohio census records - covering 4 twps, and the only place I found Hendricksons was in Lemon Twp.  Going to Lemon Twp in the 1840 census, I found one Jacob Hendrickson with a son under five.  My George Hendrickson was b. 1837, Butler County, OH, according to his Civil War records.  Have marriage records for Jacob Hendrickson - Catherine Schenck, but can't find any more on them.  Jacob isn't in the 1860 census.  Once again - George's wife had John Hendrickson and ?? Norris on his death certificate.  No clue where to go from here, so If you have any suggestions, places I can searched that I haven't already done so in the past 40 years, I'm listening.   And thanks for your help thus far.
Do you know anyone on ? They have a lot of information. I tried them for a time and was able to find some new information.
