Need help locating a book

Question

I am trying to locate this book: "Jesse Braman and Nancy Ward, A Story of Their Ancestors and Their Descendants", by Thelma Rockwell, 1973.

Can anyone assist?

Hi Mary,  My suggestion is to go to your question and edit it to add 'tags' with the names Braman and Ward.  This will bring it to the attention of anyone who is following those surnames.  Perhaps even add Rockwell, just in case.

so far all references i have run across  it looks like it was compiled and written  as a unique book for a family. i can find  no reference to it in any in print or out of print sources or her as an author in list.

This suggests you will need to contact the Family History Library.  I am not finding it on the Family Search Library site.

One of my friends also called the FHL and they don't have it.  So far, no one can find it even though it seems like it did exist.

A couple of thoughts.  

Some of the google searches turned up personal web pages that cite the reference.  Perhaps you can try contacting them?

I found a Garoutte Meeting Place on Facebook.  Many of them had a Garroutte Family history book that I am hoping to possess one day.  But they all have done lookups for me in the interim.  Perhaps you can find a family association or group that could do the same?

The web page Descendants of Joseph Elmer Bayless cites the book you are looking for as a source. The information on that page was apparently submitted by Sharon Beales (Skbearce @ aol . com); she may have a copy or know where one is.
