Every once in a while Jacob Parker of Malden pops up.  Every time I look into him, I can't figure out which one he is.  There are 3 or 4 (5?), and they are getting mixed up with one another, not just on Wikitree, but in the various sources. My notes:

How many are there?
Births:
Jacob, s. Thomas and Rebecca, Jan. 8, 1707-8.  Parker-38200
Jacob, s. Jacob and Elizabeth, Feb. 1, 1765.
Jacob, s. Jacob and Elizabeth, Mar. 29, 1779.  <==== !!!!
Jacob Webb, s. Isaac and Mary, Jan. 6, 1807.  Isaac (the father) is the son of Jacob and Lydia.

Deaths:
Jacob, 42 y., Oct. 31, 1694.  (Not born in Malden)  Parker-7994
Jacob, h. Rebecca, smallpox, Jan. 17, 1779. This is the fellow who married Rebecca Emerson caught Smallpox from her and died.  Parker-38200 also  Parker-48800
Jacob, 57 y., May 26, 1805.  This is the fellow born in Chelsea. The age at death is off by 1 year.  Husband of Lydia Hill? Parker-49751
Jacob, 45 y., Oct. 24, 1824.  ergo born in 1779 #3 from Births above.  Not listed in Marriages

Marriages:
Jacob, and Elizabeth Cheever of Lynn, Sept. 18, 1761, Aug. 29.   <=== who is this Jacob?
Jacob, Jr., and Lydia Hill, May 16, 1769, Mar. 17.  Parker-49751?
Jacob, and Rebecca Emerson, Feb. 13, 1777, Jan. 29.  This is the one who died of Smallpox Parker-38200 also Parker-48800

There is no death record for Elizabeth (Cheever) Parker in Malden. I am reluctant to support that the Jacob who married Elizabeth Cheever is the same Jacob who married Rebecca Emerson.  Also, Jacob and Elizabeth have a son Jacob in 1779, a second one, (which implies that the first one died - of which there is no record in MVR), so he is not married to Elizabeth and Rebecca at the same time.

Setting this to Parker-49751, since he is the most recent Jacob to attract my attention.

In which country is this happening?  You might like to add it as a tag to your post, too.

Forgive me, I have my face pressed against the tree and neglect the forest.  This would be Malden Massachusetts, USA.
