Husband and Wife Profiles -Does Marriage Record belong in 1 or both profiles [closed]

Question

When you have a marriage record, do you place the detailed information in the husband's or wife's profile or both?

Does it make sense to include the details of the marriage record as well as an image of it or is that overkill?

 I'm unclear whether I should document the details from FamilySearch or just point to the record but I've been burned in the past by paywalls and record disappearing. :-( Is there some type of arrangement from FamilySearch to keep their images and records free access, or could they put it behind a paywall?

The image included of the marriage record was from Die Maus, yet it shows up with what I thought was the Ancestry logo. If I was at Die Maus, I wouldn't be to happy about that :-)

Mary, first - you cannot use an image that you get from another website here, because it would be a violation of either copyright or terms of use of the other website.  If you have a document that is not subject to copyright protections, then you can scan it and upload it to WikiTree.

I would include a marriage record as a source in both partners' profiles.  I also like to transcribe all the information on it and include that in the source citation.  I do this because of concern that the link to the document on another website may someday either not be there anymore or will be behind a firewall.
