New member introducing myself

Hello!

My name is Eric Short and after a 20-year hiatus I'm updating / revisiting my genealogy.

I decided to join from your compelling "don't leave!" note when I went journeyed to the end of the Short line with John Short (the Elder, bricklayer, maybe Jamestown groupie).  I've done 23&me and Ancestry DNA work and I'm in the process of updating my Ancestry.com family tree.  Would love to contribute and share in any way.
