The gravestone of Daniel Page at the Old North Parish Burying Ground, North Andover, Essex, Massachusetts, United States. It's a nice example of one style of work by John Dwight of Shirley, Massachusetts.

Lovely image, Brian.  I'm amazed at the condition of the stone.  Could it be from the 1800s, rather than 1700s?  I know they redid one of my ancestor's headstones.  The previous one was too worn.

Hello. It's definitely original from 1769. You'd be surprised how extremely well New England slate holds up, if they're cared for. There are plenty of stones here from the 1600s that look like new. :)
That's wonderful, Brian. It must be a memorable experience to walk through such a cemetery.

It's a gorgeous old tombstone. There's some special about New England stones from that time.
